The Lisa Show
Now in its ninth year, The Lisa Show, formerly
the Creative Self-Expression Show (CSE), a nationally recognized
program that supports high school art departments by providing
students with inspiration and the opportunity to be creative,
will donate the picture framing and partner with twenty-seven
(27) Chicago-area high schools this spring to provide this positive
forum for 700 students to showcase their creative work.
David and Marlowe Klitzky, founders of The Great Frame Up, established
the program in 1995 as a way to counter the shortage of funds
in Chicago area high school art departments, and to promote the
increasing need for better art education.
This year, The Great Frame Up will be donating over $100,000
to this school art program including $11,000 in general art supplies,
over $85,000 in custom framing and $15,000 for higher-learning
scholarships.
